Hung Truong is the assistant pastor at St. Paul's Presbyterian Church, PCA, a socio-economically diverse congregation. Hung has a unique experience in ministry, raised in a Vietnamese Baptist church, and has worked with reformed churches and ministries, including African-American campus and spent two years in church planting in Trujillo Alto, Puerto Rico. Hung has been in ordained ministry since 2007 and has a Bachelors from Valdosta State University and Masters of Divinity from Metro Atlanta Seminary. Hung has been at St. Paul's since 2009, a congregation ministering to multi-ethnic groups, the displaced, and LGBTQ. Hung is married (Emily) and has four children (Holland, 10, Ella, 9, Ben, 7, and Emerson, 3)

Sam Kang is a church planting intern at Perimeter Church.
He has worked with InterVarsity,and was Director of Worship for Providence Bible Church in Virginia. Sam live with his wife Kristen and their children in Atlanta, GA.

Dr. Vince Bantu holds a PhD in Semitic and Egyptian languages from the Catholic University of America and serves as co-chair of the Theology Committee of the Christian Community Development Association. Dr. Bantu is an MDiv graduate of Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary’s Center for Urban Ministerial Education in Boston, and served the Cambridge Community Fellowship Church in Cambridge, Massachusetts, as a church-planting apprentice of Dr. Soong-Chan Rah. He also served as a program coordinator for the Emmanuel Gospel Center.

Howard Brown, a native of Charleston, SC is Senior Pastor of Christ Central PCA, in Charlotte, NC. Kellie, a native of St. Louis, MO is the Coordinator of Worship Arts at Christ Central Church and the executive director of a non-profit arts program- the NoDa School of Arts. Howard and Kellie, moved to Charlotte in the spring of 2003 to plant Christ Central- a multiethnic work in the arts district (known as NoDa) of Charlotte. They have two boys, Harrison, 14 and Clark, 12. Howard holds a Master of Divinity degree from Covenant Theological Seminary and B.A. in English from Clemson University. Kellie has a Bachelors of Fine Arts from Valdosta State University.

Dr. Carl Ellis's sermon at New City Fellowship in St. Louis during LDR Weekend. In 2015, Dr. Ellis was appointed Senior Research Fellow with Reformed Theological Seminary (RTS). Carl currently serves as the Academic Dean of The Makazi Institute, which he co-founded in 2012 to train the next generation of high-level cultural analysts. He is also the Associate Pastor for Cultural Apologetics at New City Fellowship, and serves on numerous boards and as a consultant on cultural matters.

He has authored several books, including Free At Last? and Saving Our Sons.

Rev. Russ Whitfield serves as the pastor of Grace Mosaic, a cross-cultural church in Northeast Washington, DC. He completed his bachelor of Music (B.M.) at New York University and his Master of Divinity (MDiv.) at Westminster Theological Seminary. Russ has served in many ministry roles amidst a diversity of people groups. It was from these experiences that he began to sense the urgency and the necessity of cultivating a healthy local church that embodies the cross-cultural vision of God. Now Russ, his wonderfully gifted wife, Vanessa, and their sweet kids are joyfully participating in God’s work in Washington, DC.

Mike Higgins is Dean of Students at Covenant Theological Seminary, and Lead Pastor of South City Church - an uncommon family in the city of St. Louis united by the Gospel. Mike's involvement with LDR Weekend began in 2011 when he brought a group from Covenant Seminary's African American Student Fellowship to visit with church family at New City Fellowship in Chattanooga, TN, along with fellow seminary students from Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson, MS. South City Church has hosted LDR Weekend twice - in 2013 and 2015.

Dr. Thurman Williams is the associate pastor of Grace & Peace Fellowship. He was the pastor of New Song Community Church (PCA), in the Sandtown community of West Baltimore, MD, since February of 2000. Prior to that, he served as the Minister of Outreach and Youth at Faith Christian Fellowship Church (PCA), also in the city of Baltimore, for 5 years while completing his Masters of Divinity (M.Div.) at Chesapeake Theological Seminary. Before serving at Faith, he was on staff for 4 years with the ministry of Young Life. Thurman and his wife, Evie have been married for 16 years and they have been blessed with four beautiful children, Charvez, Shaquana, Joshua, and Caleb. Thurman completed his Doctor of Ministry degree in May 2011 at Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis, with his dissertation entitled, “Christ-Centered Preaching in Hip Hop Culture.”
